A colleague who has not updated to 202H is able to use the Xbox Game bar to capture videos with no issue. The issue is present on both my laptop and desktop (both are the same version outlined below) It threw up error, so I continued testing ans found that if switched my machine and then powered up bu inserting the disc again it loaded ok.
RECORDING ERROR CANNOT RECORD ON THIS DISC E6 UPDATE
I have used this feature multiple times in the past prior to the windows 202H update successfully.I believe the issue is related to Windows Version 202H Please try with another power adapter for the DVR system, it may be caused by the power supplier is not stable. If it continues to make no sound and gives you the same message, then the problem is probably that your disc is not spinning in the device.Turn the device off and unplug it. Listen to see if it begins to read the disc. Please directly take pictures of the HDD label for us. Insert the laser lens cleaning disc and follow the instructions.Insert a correctly-formatted, undamaged disc into your player. When a DVD- blank disk is inserted into the Sansui VRDVD4005 DVD recorder, the initializing menu comes up, and when its complete, we set the DVD timer, or instant record button, and the unit seems to be recording, although we cant hear any noise coming from recorder, but the counter is ticking as though its recording. This appears to be a common issue if you search online, although there is no clear fix. the HDD will have a crazy noise when power on. If I try to record a video, I am given the error of "gaming features aren't available for the windows desktop or file explorer" and cannot enable video capture. The machine flashes on the screen 'Error cant record to this disk, Error E21) because the player will only record right now on a DVD-R format because the recording format has to be changed in the machines setup menu. I am having issues with the 'Xbox Game Bar' being unable to record videos.
